Cow Nail Art ft Nail Water Decals
Wednesday, March 19, 2014Been long time since I posted my last nail post. Today I'd like to tell you about my new fave item for nail art!
I've known nail sticker since I was a child, I liked to play with it, even until now. They're cheap and easy to get. Less than $1. But I hated it when I got cracked and peeled off, it becomes dirty and sticky. >__<
But now, I've found my new love with Nail Water Decals. At first I don't know what it is, until I got them from Born Pretty Store as giveaway gifts. I got 24 of them and they're so pretty.
- After the design is removed, hurry! Place it on your nails in the right position you want. You can't move it because it's so thin and soft or you'll tear them away. If you want to move it a little just make sure it is moist enough or add a small amount of water and be careful. (Sorry no pic of this, I was to busy with it and I have to be really quick)
- Put some topcoat on after. Just make sure it's already dry and don't put too much top coat or the design's color can fade away.
Pretty... I feel like a child again. Lol.. I have shared some with friends. I'm going to show you! It's such ashame I don't know about this before and I haven't found any whose selling this in Indonesia.
So.. I'm interested in the cow motif. They are so cute right... The best to pair is white nail polish. I'm using the one from Etude House. Not so good quality, crack easily but still ok for a few days. And base and top coat with Revlon Double Twist, cheap and good nail polish, easy to get out there.
So, this is how to use nail water decals.
- Don't forget to paint your nails first and make sure it is completely dry. Use hair dryer. It helps a lot.
- I cut the decals into pieces, only the one that I wanted to use. Once it's been removed, it can't never back in place, not like stickers.
- I prepared a small plate (usually used for sambal), pour it with water. That's why it called nail water decals because they need water. Then soak the design into the water until it can be peeled from the base. You can also use cotton bud to wet the design.
- Don't forget to wet or moist your nails too. If don't the design won't stick nicely on the nails.- After the design is removed, hurry!
Finish! Sorry still a bit messy. Too lazy to clean it up, already midnight. Beautiful.. and cute.. All people who've seen it thought that I painted them because nail water decals gives the best result that it is so soft so there's no hard surface after, unlike stickers.
What do you think, do you want to try it!
Can't wait to try the others!
