As you have known, I made these using my favourite nail supplies, nail water decals that I got from Born Pretty Store back then. I still have so many to show it to you. They have amazing so many beautiful design.
Who feel like Spring? This is not scary for you, the design is pretty flowery skull which is perfect for spring, along with the colorful nail polish, all from OPI Euro Centrale Mini Set.
What do you think? Love it?
I'll find my next inspiration since it's already time to change my nails. ^_^
Once again, if you don't know what is Nail Water Decals, check my previous post here.
Share your thought please, if you have any idea, let me know!
Been long time since I posted my last nail post. Today I'd like to tell you about my new fave item for nail art!
I've known nail sticker since I was a child, I liked to play with it, even until now. They're cheap and easy to get. Less than $1. But I hated it when I got cracked and peeled off, it becomes dirty and sticky. >__<
But now, I've found my new love with Nail Water Decals. At first I don't know what it is, until I got them from Born Pretty Store as giveaway gifts. I got 24 of them and they're so pretty.
- After the design is removed, hurry! Place it on your nails in the right position you want. You can't move it because it's so thin and soft or you'll tear them away. If you want to move it a little just make sure it is moist enough or add a small amount of water and be careful. (Sorry no pic of this, I was to busy with it and I have to be really quick)
- Put some topcoat on after. Just make sure it's already dry and don't put too much top coat or the design's color can fade away.
Pretty... I feel like a child again. Lol.. I have shared some with friends. I'm going to show you! It's such ashame I don't know about this before and I haven't found any whose selling this in Indonesia.
So.. I'm interested in the cow motif. They are so cute right... The best to pair is white nail polish. I'm using the one from Etude House. Not so good quality, crack easily but still ok for a few days. And base and top coat with Revlon Double Twist, cheap and good nail polish, easy to get out there.
So, this is how to use nail water decals.
- Don't forget to paint your nails first and make sure it is completely dry. Use hair dryer. It helps a lot.
- I cut the decals into pieces, only the one that I wanted to use. Once it's been removed, it can't never back in place, not like stickers.
- I prepared a small plate (usually used for sambal), pour it with water. That's why it called nail water decals because they need water. Then soak the design into the water until it can be peeled from the base. You can also use cotton bud to wet the design.
- Don't forget to wet or moist your nails too. If don't the design won't stick nicely on the nails.- After the design is removed, hurry!
Finish! Sorry still a bit messy. Too lazy to clean it up, already midnight. Beautiful.. and cute.. All people who've seen it thought that I painted them because nail water decals gives the best result that it is so soft so there's no hard surface after, unlike stickers.
What do you think, do you want to try it!
Can't wait to try the others!
Can't wait to try the others!
Hey, have you seen my instagram.. If you haven't you can check my update here. I got nail water decals from them and it's lovely. I've never used them and when I tried it's much better than nail sticker. So so so much better and it's cheap too. Less than $1.
Now, I've good news for you too. If you're a nail art junkie or like playing with your nails, like me. Even though I'm not an expert and has too many to learn to, better than in nail salon which is super expensive. Yes, this is a good news for you.
New arrival nail art wheels is now on sale! They have so many new designs, until I'm confused on which one to choose and ended up hours seeing their web. You can use the coupon code to purchase these babies. They also offer free shipping too. I've got mine in 3 weeks, shipped from Hongkong.
Born pretty store has so many tools and accessories for nail art duties. Finally, I can find a cheap website that ship worldwide with so many items to choose for. I like it because there are so many items that aren't available at my place so I don't know where to to buy nail art supplies.
Sooo excited to make 3D Nail Art.. I've never done them and would love to try!
Another review for today, I think this is my last post today.
Remember when I told you here that I won a giveaway and got this awesome gift, OPI Euro Centrale Mini Set.
This is my first time I have OPI, I have many nail polishes but never bought this brand, and as we know this is a very well known brand for nail polish.
The prize arrived at my house not long after I confirmed the prize with Kiki, she's the one who hold this giveaway. Anyway, if you're into nail art thing, you should follow her blog.
It came from Olivianne Shop, her sponsor for nail polishes.
The packing was really good to make sure everything inside is safe so I wouldn't mind there will be anything bad happen while delivery.
It's Euro Centrale collection by OPI and comes in a set with 4 beautiful colors and box.
I love the box design, it's very artisty...
Cute bottles. Each contains 3.75ml. It's not a lot, but for nail polish, I can use it so many times.
Each OPI Nail Polish has a unique name, and what inside this Euro Minis are:
Can't Find My Czechbook (teal)
Suzi's Hungary AGAIN! (shocking pink)
You're Such a BudaPest (purple pastel)
OY-Another Polish Joke! (gold glitter)
It's a long name and hard to remember. Lol. The description is so fun to read too.
Here is my nail art using all of the 4 colors:
I hope you like it and hope that it can inspire you,
even though it's an easy nail art but really fun to play with contrast and many colors.
Xoxo,
Jcliani
Back with nail art post.
I hope it's getting better :D
Inspired by the Spring season and neon color that's really in for now.
You can see it everywhere from make up, fashion, all is spring and neon.
I love combination of pink and green.
It's cute and sweet.
I'm having the FOTD eye make up to match the nails, check it here
NAIL POLISH
L-R:
Oriflame base coat
Lioele #16 Bikini Pink
Etude House #CGR701
Etude House Nail Art Pen White
Revlon Double Twist Top Coat
Use the green/pink first on half part of your nails
Use the other color to fill in the other half part of your nails
Make long lines with gap between them, and then just fill in the gap with shorter lines like you're writing l but in long way...
The pros of this nail art is, even though you didn't make a clean line between the green and pink, the white lines can cover it.
Wanna try? ^_~
What other color you think the best for this kind of nail art?
This is what I'm doing today...
Preventing my nails get chipped and broken (I have weak nails), but I want to beautify my nails so... This is the way....
Using Nail Sticker! Yay... I love nail sticker, it is easy peasy to use, and beautiful plus it's really cheap. Got it for only $0,7. You can use it many times... Many cute designs are available. I bought it at Strawberry shop at mall.
I just maintain my nails with peel off whitener by Oriflame, kinda like a peel off mask that can make your nails whiter and smooth.
After that, I'm using base coat from Oriflame too. They kinda have affordable products for nails. It works good!
Now, placing the nail sticker one by one, you can use your hand, no need a tool for this one. But if you need a tool, just use dotting tool or tooth pick to help you.
Time to give the finishing touch!
Use any top coat to do this. I'm using Revlon Double Twist Instant Base & Top Coat. It works very good, instant dry so you don't have to wait too long.
Coat all your nails twice, so your stickers won't got torn easily.
Voila.... FINISH...
Just in minutes and it's beautiful.
NB:
Don't forget to buff your nails first so your 'naked' nails will be beautiful before the coating
I rarely posted Nail Art of the day,
I'm still a beginner and want to try more,
but I want to share it to you guys,
I hope it can be inspiration for you, too..
This is my first Ombre Nails.
Ombre means Gradient, and it's not too hard to make it..
I also want to give a glamour touch so here how it looks...
Nail Polish:
Ombre (bottom) = Oriflame Pure Color Floral 24060
Ombre (middle) = Oriflame Pure Color Floral 24061
Ombre (top) = Oriflame Pure Color Floral 24062
Glitter = Etude House Juicy Cocktail Nail Polish
#5 Princess Mary (No.2 & No.3)
Top Coat = Revlon Double Twist Top Coat
How to:
1. Paint your nails with base color using Ombre (top)
2. Use triangle sponge, that usually used for make up
Put Ombre colors from Ombre (bottom), Ombre (Middle), Ombre (Top) so they will make 3 lines from dark to light color
3. Press it to your nail so it will look like gradient effect, and do it again with other nails
4. Clean your finger, wait until dry
5. Use the Glitter to all your nails and it will look pretty, plus if your ombre is messy or a little bit fail, this can cover it.
6. Use Top Coat and you're done!
