Back to Haul post... I'll keep it monthly post if... I have haul to be shared to you. I just hope my haul post won't be a long post because it means that my wallet is short. You know what I mean. (~-_-)~
I don't have that many to share but this is still a fun thing to do. Let's take a look!
Hi Princess! How's your April?
This will be my first post on April and it's to seduce you {-^_^-}
This will be my first post on April and it's to seduce you {-^_^-}
I got something that might be dangerous to your wallet. As usual.. Ehm.. Etude House is always working their princessy side and here it goes..
Kerrie Hess is an Australian fashion illustrator that has illustrated for CHANEL, Louis Vuitton, Printemps Paris, and net-a-porter.com. Now, she illustrates for Etude House. Wow...!
Lipstick.. Must have product for every girls and women. Etude House launched this Princess Etoinette series last winter, this time their theme is white and silver, while a year before, the first edition had the pink and gold theme. All of them are very pretty and praised by its pretty and princessy look.
I didn't have a plan to get this at first but wanted a beige neutral lip color and I don't have many choices because the trend is now more into bright colors so I picked this one from Cosmetic Love along with Missha M Super Extreme Waterproof Eyeliner. I got coupon from them because I won the reviewers homecoming program as the most submit reviews. Yay! They are Korean cosmetic online shop which provide free world wide shipping, they also have good customer service who reply the questions asap.
The box is pretty! Love the design.. So feminine and flowery. And not only the box, the lipstick packaging is very pretty too. Usually the box is prettier than the product itself. It has description in English:
This perfumed smooth lipstick delivers a surge of moisture and a soft shimmering flush, giving your lips a gorgeous look.
They have 3 colors: pink, beige and red. I chose the beige (PBE102). The shade is on the top of the box.
The lipstick packaging is pretty, it is made from white shimmery plastic with carving details. It is light but a good one. I bring it in my cosmetic pouch and no scratch or damaged happened.
The logo Etoinetted is carved in pretty 'E' letter and some leaves carving, very classic and classy! Not only the belt and bottom part, the top part too is pretty. Although I must admit because of this pretty shape, it is a bit bigger than my other slim lipstick, but I don't mind.
It has 3.4g in it, like other normal lipstick. Love the color, it's not a brown beige but more to pink beige, which I love.
The lisptick, with flash (top), and no flash (bottom). It has subtle shimmer in it like the description said, but it's barely seen. Like other Etude House lipstick, There is an Etoinette logo embossed on the lipstick.. Pretty. Such a shame to use it and make the logo fades away.
The swatch in flash and no flash. The color is a bit sheer but buildable. It is beige with pink undertone and soft shimmer, barely seen. I like it that it is not shimmery even though heavily swatched.
This is definitely my lips but better color. Finally found it. I have a pigmented and uneven lips color, so this lipstick helps my lips look neater and prettier. It feels moisturizing and not heavy at all. There is a bit shine on the lips. As usual moisturizing lipstick, it is not long lasting, only for 2-4 hours without eating and drinking.
Pros:
+ Pretty packaging
+ Soft and buildable color
+ Moisturizing
+ Subtle shimmer, barely sheen
Cons:
- A bit expensive for Etude House lipstick (more than $10)
- Only has 3 colors
- Not long lasting
Overall:
Aside from the special edition and pretty packaging, it is a normal moisturizing lipstick. Nothing is too wow about this one but I'm happy with the color. I think this one is better than Etude House Dear My Blooming lipstick. This has better and more moisturizing formula and the color is not tacky at all. What do you think of Etude House Lipstick?
Are you curious about the new Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion, wow, that's such a very long name. If you remember the magic cushion, this one is the same concept but filled with base similar with Etude House Baby Choux Base. See my previous intro for this product here.
I've tried cushion product like this before. My first one is IOPE Air Cushion Sunblock EX and I love it. Cushion is really compact and neat, lightweight and travel friendly. Whenever I'm travelling this is my must bring. No mirror or brush needed anymore.
So, when I've to choose something for sponsored product from Cosmetic Love, of course I chose this one. And I chose the pink one. Cosmetic Love is an online shop that sells Korean cosmetics with free world wide shipping.

[Etude House] Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion SPF34 / PA++ 15g
Moisture-Rich Multi Color Cushion.
- Magic Pink for Pale Skin
- Magic Mint for Covering Blush
- Magic Peach for Brightening
[Capacity]
15g
[How to Use]
Buff the moisture-rich powder onto skin in circular motions until desired coverage is achieved.
The box has the same color with the compact, this one has pearl pink color, just like the liquid inside. The pact made from plastic, the top side is pearl finish while the bottom side is glossy finish. I love the logo, it's beautiful like a round mirror frame.
The box contains English description and ingredients while the others are in Korean. It's nice to see that it has SPF in it. Sometimes I just lazy putting up sunblock and layering my face again. No time for that. This shorten my morning routine.
The size is the same with Any Cushion and my IOPE. Thick but light weight. The air puff is pink as you can see the bottom side, it's definitely cuter than the previous Etude House Any Cushion which has dark blue color. The pink color has perfect match with the case. There is a plastic separator between the cushion and the puff to keep it clean.
The cushion's texture is like sponge with big pores, that's where the liquid is.
The color is pearly milky pink. I'm afraid it's too white since the color contains more white than pink, not like the baby choux, this one is whiter. The texture is light, but remember to not using it too much or it will end up pasty. The smell is like powder with floral hint, somehow similar with my IOPE.
The puff is pink, cute right? It's the same with other variants. I think it will be cuter if the mint has green puff and the peach has peach puff too. Because this product has light pastel color, the cushion's color is lighter too (compared to Any Cushion which has dark blue color).
The liquid blends in nicely with the puff using tap tap motion, this will give light finish and won't be cakey. It gives brightening effect with light shimmer or pearl finish. Nice as make up base for glowing finish. I think this can be used as highlighter too if it's too white. Personally, I think it's a bit too white for me if I use it alone. Very unsuitable for people with dark skin.
I love that it does brighten and giving me healthy complexion rather than my dull face before. It doesn't have coverage but can brighten and ease up a bit the look of my freckles. I added under eye concealer, eyeliner, lipbalm and BB Cream, ready to go!
But be careful. It can be pasty, both the Magic Any Cushion and BB Cream must be applied in thin layer, unless you want to look awkward, getting too white or enhance the dry patches. Remember to prepare your skin well before using them, it helps a lot and smoothen the make up. Adding some loose powder helps them to stay in place and make it less sticky.
Pros:
+ Compact base to bring
+ Brighten the skin and giving healthy glow
+ Has SPF
+ Cute packaging, as always
+ Comes in 3 variants, but I think peach and pink is kinda similar
Cons:
- Expensive for a base make up
- Might be too pasty and white
- Not suitable for dark skin
- Can enhance dry patches
- A little bit sticky for tropical humid temperature (using loose powder will help)
Overall:
It does the job well, but with some cons I said above, I will rethink to repurchase because it is quiet expensive. I love the brightening effect it gives and the compactness, it's easy to bring everywhere and less messy to apply, no hand or brush needed. I always use it with light tap tap motion to make it natural and finish it with natural loose powder.

Quick News from Etude House!
Etude Hose, why are you keep making me broke? Maybe for some people. it's really true. They are now going on their spring collection as the new lips fit already launched. A few days ago, there is something new and it's so exciting and colorful.
Etude House Any Cushion has been a hit and it's best selling item. Do you remember the last year Sweet Recipe collection, I reviewed the Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base #2 Berry. And now they are combining both of them and creating a new Etude House Magic Any Cushion.
I love how they look. They're just like macaroons to me! Kyaa...
There are 3 colors just like the Baby Choux Base, Peach, Mint and Berry. It claims that the cushion can magically tone up the skin. So if you have redness, you can choose the mint one. If you have pale skin like me, berry is the perfect one, and peach can also whiten your skin tone. I love this idea because it is more practical because we don't have to blend and it quicken the make up routine.
Which one will you choose?
Hello galz!
As you know, Etude House always launches new products in no time. Seriously, maybe I see their new products every month.. This time is not a make up collection, they had just released the Minnie collection a half month ago which is so adorable. Now, it is a hand cream with lipbalm collection and the name is Don't Worry. It is a cute idea, I think. It can be given to cheer people up.

Hey, you know what.. Etude House is coming back with new collection. Hmmm. I'm still thinking how they release or make something so fast. I haven't tried the Rosy collection, now already a new one. Come on..
By the way, this cutie collection will be released on this 15th October. Are you ready for that? The ambassador, Sully with the cute headband, she becomes the Minnie..
Sneak peak for the collection. It's a classic Disney images, I love them. Unfortunately it's a limited edition. Phew.. I don't know if it's coming to Indonesia or not. Hope the price isn't too high as it is limited. Like Princess Etoinette Collection, they are more expensive.
Look at the blush on with Minnie shape, it's adorable. I also eyeing the powder or something, I think it's eyeshadow with Minnie's head shaped packaging. Lovely!
What do you think?
Want it???
Pssstt.... Keep your wallet away... Seriously! ^_~
I'm back with another review.. It feels like ages since my last review.. Phew.. Let's start. I have these as you seen in my July & August Haul. Color Pop is a summer line that was released on May/June, I posted the collection here. Bought it as there's a deal from Hotdeals in Korea. I love eyeliners, I want to collect many colors as it is fun to play with. Color Pop caught my eyes! Since it was on a good deal, really forget the price right now, but less than USD 20 for a set. It is such a steal.
Details
Description:
This waterproof eyeliner set comes with creamy-textured, vibrant, and vivid POP & HOT colors that glide on smoothly for dazzling eyes.
How to Use:
Line Touch Tip: Draw along lashing starting from inner to outer eye area.
Shadow Touch Tip: Draw along lashline and gently smudge.
Size:
Pack Size - 1.4g/0.04oz x 5 pcs
Packaging
It is so cute like a pencil box made from tin can with a paper box. So colorful and remind me of school. I will use the box for other uses. Lol.
Open it up and there it is.. The cute pencils are inside. It is smaller than usual pencil eyeliner. It only contains 1.4g. The box is light and still can be carried when travelling, but I prefer just taking the pencil that I want to use.
There are 5 eyeliner pencils in it from dark to light color. This one is not as colorful as the other Color Pop series. I imagine more from blue and green but in this set there is only warm color.
On the other side of the pencil, there is a color code for each pencil. From the bottom: black, brown, red, orange, pink. The color of the ink that printed on the pencil also shows the color inside. Even though some of them is not look like it.
The back side of the box contains description and how to use, even though I think an eyeliner doesn't need how to use.
Review & Swatches
The five eyeliners without cap on. Pretty colors As you can see, the brown is softer than the red one even though the color on the pencil is darker.
It is crayon eyeliners as you can see from the point. Because it is smaller than usual eyeliner, it is more precision and easier to use.
The color I swatch only the orange and red, sorry for that. The other colors I give it to friends because I already own that color from my Holika Holika Jewel Pencil Eyeliners.
The texture is creamy but not too soft. I like it because it is easy to work with and I can line smaller line with it. Compared to Holika Holika, it is not as creamy as Holika Holika which is a plus because with Holika Holika I can't draw more precision line, only big line and I don't want to waste it by sharpening it all the time. It is also not as easy to smudge as Holika Holika. The finish is more to semi matte and a little bit waxy. The glitter is soft, Holika Holika is more harsh.
The color pigmentation is good, but I think Holika Holika is more pigmented because they are creamier. I usually double my line when using. I have tried other colors just a little bit because I want to know. The brown one is not pigmented, for you who wants light brown, this can be it. But if you're looking a pigmented real brown like me, this isn't it. The red is beautiful, darker than the brown and a little bit browny in the tone. Orange is fun to play with but I rarely use it. Red is more casual and easier to work with. Pink is for under eye, the color is so soft and not as glittery as Holika Holika. Maybe next time I'll make a swatch comparison. Just let me know if you need one.
It is waterproof and long lasting, not smudging. I use it for 8 hours and it still good. One of the best pencil eyeliner which I like.
For other swatches as shown in the color note.
It can be bought per pc, not always a set if you want. But for the price, Holika Holika is cheaper because it is bigger in size. Now I'm eyeing for NYX retractable eyeliner because it has more unique color and great pigmentation and it's retractable, nice for emergency no need to sharpen.
What is your fave color eyeliner?
Share with me!
Pros:
+ Cute packaging and comes in set
+ Waterproof
+ Long lasting
+ Travel friendly
+ Many color range
+ Soft glitters, doesn't hurt the eyes
Cons:
- Pigmentation is good but not bold enough
- The size is so small
- White packaging makes it dirty if we open and close it many times
- The unique color is red and orange only in this set
Overall:
I like the set and because of the deal of course. The color range is nice too, fun for summer. I like the texture because it is creamy but not too much. The glitter is not too big so it won't come into the eyes. Safer for contact lens user. But I disappointed with the brown color. It is typical Korean brown which not too pigmented. I won't repurchase because I want to try other brands and it is quiet expensive if there is no deal.
Banila Co
CC Cream Comparison Review (Banila Co, Etude House #Glow, Tony Moly, Face Shop Smart Capsule)
Hi.. I've noticed that the CC Cream Reviews have so many hits, any brands, anytime I post about CC Cream, it hits a lot of readers. Because many of you are also asking about CC Cream, I just make the comparison to help you choose which one suits you.
All these CC Creams I have reviewed before:
Because I have reviewed them in details, i just make a quick review based on the comparison, if you want to check the detail review, please click the name above.
Review:
This is the most different from the texture because it has soft pink color that has brightening effect but it doesn't has extreme color changing properties like the other.
It gives glowing skin but doesn't have coverage at all.
It is the most moisturizing.
Really good for dry skin.
It has smart capsules. The color changing needs time, this one is the 2nd that needs longest time to color changing.
It has glowing finish because this one is the glow version, it doesn't have coverage.
Even though it is glow version, it doesn't really moisturizing.
It feels the stickiest compared to others.
My least fave.
It has smart capsules. I think this is the whitest of them all. It needs the longest time to color changing. Be careful of white cast.
It gives glowing finish, not really moisturizing, have sheer coverage.
It has good oil control.
The packaging is different, it has bottle, not tube or compact.
It has smart capsules, there is another version (Aura) that doesn't have capsules. I like that one better.
This one comes in a small bottle, while Aura version in compact.
It gives glowing finish, have coverage (the best among the others).
This has good oil control but too dry to me.
For dry skin, Aura version is more moisturizing.
Choose what suits you best. Do remember, using CC Cream doesn't mean skincare, keep using skincare before using this, moisturizer is a must!
CC Cream isn't better than BB Cream. They are different and has its own plus. If you need heavy or more coverage, stick to BB Cream, or use CC Cream as a base.
If you won't, just use CC Cream with concealer, it's already good to go and it looks really natural because it makes your skin just better.
What is my fave CC Cream???
Hmm.. tough question, from what I've tried.
I like Banila Co and The Face Shop, but I like Aura version (compact) rather than Smart Capsule (bottle), will review it later.
But my main reason is... I have normal dry skin and I like the one with moisturizing properties while the Tony Moly and Face Shop Smart Capsule feels dry when I use them, so I guess because the oil control is good.
My least fave is Etude House, it isn't really moisturizing, but the result is so so. It is good but lost to the others.
Hola... Feels it's a while ago since I reviewed Etude House, one of my favorite brand from Korea.
So.. It's new to me to buy eye primer. I've never feel like I needed it before I'm into eyeshadows.
But now, I know why it is very important. I don't have oily eyelids, not at all, never experienced eyeshadow creased or messy after a few hours. But still, primer is needed.
Want to know why???
Short review...
Details
I couldn't find the complete details about this item.
Price is various start from $6.
Packaging
It comes in a box. The bottle made from plastic and the shape is like Etude House Liquid Eyeliner Oh M'eye Line. I've owned the pearl liner and brown, black, silver eyeliner. I just love them because they're cheap and good quality.
The cap has the same material with Etude House Proof 10 Liquid Liner. This one too I owned years ago but my sister broke it, it's kinda fragile. I like the blue color and the shimmer material. It's classy.
So so so sorry I forgot to take a picture of the wand, but let me tell you.
It's similar with usual concealer wand with angled applicator.
Swatch
It's creamy and the color is light beige, easy to blend but dries really fast.
It's hard to blend eyeshadow if I wait too long after I apply the primer.
You see how the difference are between using it and without it.
The color is bold and shown, just like how it is shown on the palette.
I tried to smudge and rub it real hard, man! it is really hard to removed.
Now I know why we need a primer for eye shadow.
It is best removed with make up remover.
Pros
- Cheap
- Look a like UD in cheap version
- Works real good, eyeshadow color more pop up and hard to be removed
Cons
- Dries out fast after applying and hard to blend eyeshadow after
Overall
It is a cheap solution, I love the bottle and the applicator. But the dries out factor kinda annoys me, I tried to use eyeshadow and it took a long time but when I want to blend the color, it is hard and it feels rough and not smooth.
I don't know if I'd repurchase, I'm thinking trying NYX, but still, I don't know when I will run out of this thing, we just need a very small amount to use and I'm not using it everyday.
