Each bottle is a small 5ml glass bottle, the normal size is twice than this one so this is perfect for people who like to try a few different types of essential oil at once. Every single oil blend is a mixture of a few different types of oil and blended for its purpose as its name.

Each EO has their own functions, you can check them at the box and use the one you need.

How To Use Essential Oils

Various ways in how to use Essential Oils, I have the perfume or spray also of course the diffusion. I love the effect, now my room smells fresh and helping me stay away from stress.

Some concerns you need to know about Essential Oils, avoid direct contact and don't burn them out without carrier because it will be toxic.

How I Enjoy My Essential Oil as Aromatherapy

All I need is water, a candle and a burner. I got this cute burner from Utama Spice shop, they sell a few different kinds of burner and I fell in love with this green frangipani one.

It's very simple to enjoy essential oil. I love to use it as aromatherapy. Pouring a few drops (around 5 drops) into water on a burner and let the air filled with the essential oil's benefits. As a reminder, don't ever let the water emptied out or burn the oil without carrier because it's dangerous and will become toxic.

Review

- Clearing Essential Oil Blend 5ml

Ingredients: Cubeb, Cajeput, Fennel, Ginger, Mint, Nutmeg
Review: I can smell the ginger a bit stronger here but I love the blend. It gives refreshing scent and clear the air especially because of the cubeb, ginger and mint so it will be really good when I have a cold or feeling sick.

- Focus Essential Oil Blend 5ml
Ingredients: Rose Geranium, Rosemary, Cananga, Lemon, Peppermint Oil
Review: This smells really good especially if you're a flower lover because the rose geranium scent is dominant here.

- Pure Energy Essential Oil Blend 5ml

Ingredients: Bergamot, Orange, Rosemary, Lemongrass
Review: I can smell the orange and lemongrass as the first hint, I love lemongrass scent somehow it's a bit sweet. The orange also makes it fresh and sweeter.

- Bliss Essential Oil Blend 5ml

Ingredients: Lavender, Bergamot, Rose Geranium, Orange, Patchouli Oil
Review: The lavender is quiet strong here. It's a perfect blend for relaxing and helping me sleep.

- Deep Calming Essential Oil Blend 5ml
Ingredients: Lavender, Rose Geranium, Bergamot, Cananga, Orange Oil
Review: I found that Bliss and Deep Calming are very similar. They have the same top notes so it's very hard to differentiate them but there'a a bit of base note that's slightly different and I can smell them after get used to it.

So far, I'm loving them all. My favorite is pure energy and bliss, I like something fresh and refreshing for my go to aromatherapy. If you prefer a single essential oil, Utama Spice has so many of them with affordable price. You can also mix them yourself. I bought the peppermint one and mix it with other oil because I love the effect, it's refreshing and clearing also has antibacterial properties.

(GIVEAWAY inside!) Armanda Caruso Makeup Blender, Mask Applicator & Makeup Brush Cleaner Review

Yet, another giveaway for you! This time is a Makeup Blender from Armanda Caruso. As on previous post I've told you that Utama Spice in collaboration with Armanda Caruso and Air Resort Swimwear invited me for a workshop and I got several Armando Caruso products.

I got a makeup blender, mask applicator, and a makeup brush cleaner. Armanda Caruso has so many good brushes and blender, I bought a few before and I love them because they are good quality and affordable.

Armanda Caruso Makeup Blender

For makeup blender, they have few different shapes like teardrop, diamond, mini teardrop and some other shapes. I got the black one. The Makeup Blender comes in a transparent plastic box. The shape of the makeup blender is kinda cute, it's like a pear shape. The blender itself is black and spongy just like other makeup blender.

It gets bigger when it's dampened and can be used after it gets bigger but don't forget to squeeze the excess water before using. The big size is half time bigger than its original and it really helps me applying foundation and making my skin looks dewy and flawless.

The blender is quiet dense compared to other brands that I've tried before like Beauty Blender and Real Techniques. The size is kinda similar tho. This is the size on my hand after it gets bigger.

I use a thick cream foundation to see if the blender works or not. I already blended it a bit with finger and it still looks thick. Just tap tap on bouncing mode with the bottom part of the blender to blend everything perfectly.

After blending, you can see the left one without blender looks too white, sinks into fine lines and a bit patchy but fuller coverage while on the right one is blended well, looks moist and like my own but better skin, more natural finish. Because I'm a fan of dewy makeup and natural look, I really need a makeup blender. Plus I have normal dry skin which will be so much better if the foundation is blended using makeup blender.

Armanda Caruso Mask Applicator

Unlike normal mask brush, this one is named mask applicator because it has silicon tip. I really wanted this kind of brush since a long time but I've never known that Armando Caruso has it. I'm so happy when they gave me this.

The other part is just the same black handle but the silicon tip really helps me to apply mask especially DIY mask like what I did with my Utama Spice Charcoal Face Mask. It lefts no residue on the tip and no waste for the mask. It's really easy cleaning the applicator after using, another plus for this one!

Armanda Caruso Makeup Brush Cleaner

I ran out of my previous brush cleanser and finally got this one to try. It's a liquid soap for makeup brushes and puffs.

How to use:
1. Wet the hair bundle with warm water
2. Pour an appropriate amount of shampoo in palm of your hand
3. Wash the hair bundle with the shampoo carefully rubbing back and forth until it creates lather
4. Rinse the brush thoroughly with warm water, dry it with a clean cloth or tissue and shape the brush tip into its original shape
5. Lay the brush flat to dry
6. Check the brush to ensure it is dry. Gently rub the hair bundle to reshape the brush into its original shape

It's a mild scented transparent liquid soap in a plastic bottle. I kinda like the scent, it's calming and soft.

I tried to clean several makeup brushes with it. It works well with eye brushes and face brushes that's not too dirty but for foundation brush it's kinda hard to clean it properly. Using brush mat cleaner will help a lot! I've tried it and it works better if using brush mat.
