Hi there! It's been a while since I reviewed face oil. I didn't try many face oil before, but luckily Jolse picked me as reviewer for this new product. Right on time! I've never tried Korean brand face oil before, so I'm really excited.


Olivarrier is a new Korean brand (launched last year, I think) that has a unique concept of essentialism, they cut down all the non essential ingredients such as chemical preservatives, coloring agents, fragrances and 26 selected allergenic components by EU and Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The concept is 'less is more' so they don't have too many products and focusing on repairing and maintaining the skin's natural moisture barrier.

How is olive squalane different from other oil?

How To Use

Take 1 ~ 2 drops on the hands, rub them, and wrap the face with the hands to absorb smoothly.

The packaging is very simple, just like their concept, they put only important information with minimum design. I love how it looks, it's simple and clean, even looks expensive. Everything is in transparent and white. The oil's packaging has the same concept as usual serum with glass bottle and pipette.

It has no color and no scent. The texture is way more watery and lighter than normal oil, I think that's why it's called 'fluid oil'. It sinks quiet fast into the skin and makes my skin looks glowing and moist but not sticky or a feeling that there's oil sitting on my face. 

Sometimes I use it at the last step of skincare with only 1 drop using the method rubbing on hands and wrapping my face with my hands, it makes my night skincare routine more glowing. But if I want to use it for day use, I put 1 drop into the cream with 1:2 ratio and blend them together then apply it on face like usual cream.  It's way faster and less oily but I still can get the benefit from the oil.
