UPDATE! My Skincare Routine June'15
Saturday, June 27, 2015
It's been a long time since I updated my skincare routine and I've been changing so much lately. Mostly came from sponsors and also my own pocket. Sometimes I'm confused on which one I need to use first but I know that I need to empty the one that came first. Do you have the same problem with me? ^o^. Fortunately my skin is 'badak' skin so I've never experienced breakout but I'm also picky in choosing the products especially skincare. Never ever use 'abal-abal' or fake or unknown where's it from products! Be kind to your skin as it's an investment.
I know it looks a lot, but I'm not using them all at once. Sometimes I change into one another and there're also days when I'm so lazy to put anything on my face and just fall asleep. I know you do too *grin. Note that I've normal dry skin and I'm a Korean skincare addict so you'll see a lot Korean skincare here.
I'm a big fan of Laneige \(^_^)/, but since it's expensive I rarely buy it and I only use it in small amount so they'll last for a long time. I really-super LOVE this collection. I've emptied Laneige Water Bank Essence and Laneige Water Bank Eye Cream, I also posted 2 years ago My Laneige Night Routine. This is the perfect collection for my dry skin because it's very calming, the scent is also refreshing, and it's not sticky at all but still giving me moist bouncy skin.
I bought the big one when I was in Singapore, but now it's became too expensive and the alternative is buying the mini size like the Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream.
Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence & Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum
You know that Laneige is ehm.. pricey, so sometimes I substitute them with Innisfree. The essence is like water and absorbs fast, giving me moist and plump skin. The green tea serum is also watery, smells good and moisturizing. Both aren't sticky and sometimes I don't use cream after this. Even though I have dry skin but I don't stay at AC room all day. If I'm gonna be at AC room, I'll use the Laneige set.
Mizon Snail Eye Cream
Got it from Sparkling Gee, too. I love this one because it feels light and non sticky so it's a good base for concealer in the morning. It has spatula too but.. I prefer using it with my ring finger because it's much quicker. >.<. If things getting cakey on under eye area, this can helps, just dab a little and tap tap or blend a bit with brush.
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++ (review)
I've been using it for a week and in love with it. I've reviewed it and amazingly the post got so many attention and soon became the most popular post. It's so light and absorbed so fast, non sticky and gives me matte finish. With this high SPF, I'm surprised how light this sunscreen is.
I don't really differentiate my morning with night routine, sometimes I still use Laneige or Innisfree, the same with morning one, but sometimes I use different item because I prefer something more moist mixed with special care for night.
Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner (review)
I prefer using this toner at night because it's more moist and need time to absorb but I love the result. It's no alcohol, paraben and other harmful ingredients.
Laneige White Plus Renew Night Cream
Sometimes I use this one because I have freckles and I wish to brighten my skin with this one. I'm not really sure if it works well but I love the texture and scent because it's not overwhelming and still feels light on skin.
Laneige White Plus Renew Spot Treatment
I have the mini size to works on my freckles. Ehm.. I usually forget applying this product so I can't say much about this one. It has balmy texture and a little goes a long way.
Methode Swiss Thermal Oxygen Over Night Eye Mask
It's expensive >.< but I need something that really works on my purple dark circle and I hope it works. Just got it 2 weeks ago so I can't say anything yet. I like the texture, it has gel texture and really light. Best used with massage technique.
I'm a mask hoarder especially when it comes to sleeping mask. >_<
Laneige Water Sleeping Pack (review)
BEST SLEEPING MASK! I've used 3 bottles and keep repurchasing! It's like an instant booster to keep my skin moist and supple.
Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack (review)
I really love the texture, like custard pudding that amazingly melts. Can't describe it, just see my review. It fills the pores and lines, making it smooth and firm. Love love love!
Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Pack (review)
Yup! I really love Laneige pack. This smells soooo good. Yummy! Just use a little to get softer, smoother and brighter skin in 15 minutes. A bit sticky but the result is good.
Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack (review)
I just bought it a month ago and love it! It has pleasant smell and has calming effect. Makes my skin softer and brighter. If you're on budget and wanted something like Laneige water sleeping pack, I recommend this one. Same size, half the price. They don't exactly the same but kinda has similar result for me.
Mizon Snail Sleeping Pack
It's quiet thick but blendable and has strong scent but it makes my skin moist and firm.
Sheet Masks
I use various mask sheets, I love collecting them and using them once or twice a week. It gives instant result for moisturizing and boosting the skin. Can't live without it.

CLEANSING ROUTINE
Bioderma Sensibio H2O / Bifesta Cleansing Water
I found that cleansing water is expensive *sad* but I really love using them because it's a quick step and does the all in one job from cleansing, rinsing and even moisturizing. When I got lazy I just use cleansing water to clean my face (double swipe) and put on my sleeping pack. For the cleansing power, I'd say that Bifesta does the job better than Bioderma. It's harder to clean make up with Bioderma, I need more effort to clean it properly, with Bifesta I need less effort and it's easier to clean waterproof make up.
Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil (review)
Although I don't really like the scent, but it does a good job and gentle on my skin. It's also best if used combined with the black sugar facial polish.

I'm into sugar scrub now. It's really fun and sweet rubbing my face with sugar. I love both of them. I will run out soon and will try another scrub (already bought it, just wait for my post).
Mizon Snail Repairing Foam Cleanser
This is gentle and I super love the scent and the texture. It's gentle, doesn't dry out my skin, no tacky feeling.

BRTC Aqua Rush Peel Gel (review)
I rarely use this because sometimes I just forget ^~^. This is also for exfoliating like scrub but in harder way, the good thing is the result is more visible. This 'gommage' type is popular in Korea and Japan. It's light and gel type, just wait a few minutes after applying and rub, there will be excess from the gel but along with the dirt and dry skin cell from skin. It's really good to see the excess if it's a bit grey because it feels like all dirt is ripped off from my skin.

Sheet Masks
I use various mask sheets, I love collecting them and using them once or twice a week. It gives instant result for moisturizing and boosting the skin. Can't live without it.
Utama Spice Argan Oil
I love Argan oil! It's very useful from head to toe oil. I use it for scar treatment, it moisten the skin. If I make home made mask, I always add a few drops of this oil. Sometimes I just use it alone if I want. It gives me soft and glowing skin in the morning.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil
It's nice to calm acne, especially when it's irritated, this oil also works as antibacterial to the irritated acne skin. When I want to put foundation but I have big acne, I always mix one drop of this oil with the foundation and it helps a lot! It doesn't feel itchy as if with foundation only.
Ciracle Pink Powder
Pink powder is famous to fight acne, many brands especially Korean has this kind of product. It works wonderful on acne skin, makes it dry faster.
E.L.F Lip Exfoliator (review) / The Bath Box Vanilla Lip Taffy Sugar Lip Scrub (review)
Sometimes make up remover isn't enough especiall with longlasting lip color, it even dries out lips easily. This is a savior! I love ELF because it's very easy to use and no need hand to apply. It has bigger granules while The Bath Box is softer.
Utama Spice Mint Lip Balm (review) / EOS Mint Lip Balm (review) / Burt Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm
I have many lip balms, but my favorite is Utama Spice Mint Lip Balm because it's not waxy and giving my lips moist and minty sensation, while EOS is too waxy, even though it's really cute and the pome isn't giving me enough moisture and I don't really like the scent on my lips.
It's quiet a long post...
The conclusion is choose what's best for you according to your skin type. Trial and error might come but it's part of the journey. Invest when you're still young or you can regret it in the future. I don't have the best skin but I try to make my best out of it.
