Make Over is Indonesian local brand with elegant concept. I love their packaging which is dominated by black and looks simple yet expensive. With affordable price, Make Over is being loved by many Indonesians. 

Make Over recently launched their new eyeshadow palette series, Nude and Smokey. Lucky me, they just sponsored Bali Beauty Blogger for these new babies and I got the Smokey one.

I love their packaging design, everything looks elegant and even though it's made from plastic, it's quiet sturdy. Plus the silver pouch as bonus (loveeee it!).


The ingredients is listed on the back side and the expiration date is around 3 years from production time.

For smokey color range, it has both light and bold color with more cool tone. From soft to bold, it can be used daily or for party occasion perfectly. 

The eyeshadow palette comes with a brush in it. I love the brush (I hate sponge applicator) because it's quiet big (the bigger the better, right!) and it has soft bristles. Plus point on this one! It has 2 head brushes, the one is a blending brush and the other one is a slanted brush.  Blending brush is perfect for the eyelid, blends and do most of the work while slanted brush is perfect for making line and can be used for brows too.


CREME: Matte cream color, a bit chalky

SILVEREST: White silver with soft shimmer, quiet pigmented and easy to blend

ROKSTAR: Dark grey/silver with soft shimmer, the color isn't really showing, not as good as the silverest one

PEACH LADYLIKE: It's not peach though, more like soft burgundy color with more purple pink tone in it. This one is my favorite color in the palette! The texture is quiet similar with silverest

MIDNIGHT: I have high expectation for the midnight color because it's the color that attracts me the first time but it's not as pigmented as I imagine and a little bit patchy. The dark blue color still cool though, and I'm looking forward using it

TWILIGHT: This is the older sister for the Peach Ladylike. The color and texture is similar, with Twilight in the darker zone. It's metallic dark purple color, will be a perfect combination with Midnight and Peach Ladylike

BLACK STILETTO: Matte black. Not really pigmented and a bit patchy

ESPRESSO: Matte dark brown color. More pigmented than Black Stiletto and less patchy

The metallic/shimmery color is showing better performance. I think Silverest, Peach Ladylike and Twilight are the best one among the others. The matte color is a bit chalky and patchy but the worst is the Black Stiletto. For more perfect performance, don't forget to use eye primer before using it.
